I paid for a guitar 3 months ago they still haven't sent it now they are saying they will mail it to me in pieces just so there's a tracking number because I filed a dispute. What do I do?

I've been through all of that now I'm just going to try small claims court

@BrianStephenson  I just read through this tread, really sorry this happend to you.  I know eBay allows 30 days to file a claim and PayPal 180 days.  Was this an eBay transaction?  Just curious.  As for the Item not received claim (I assume that is what you processed in PayPal) I am really miffed why the Seller got bent out of shape since THEY took forever to ship.  The claim was simply a rminder for them to ship in case they forgot.  had they shipped the original item in good condition then no harm other then you being put out by the delay. 

Next, when you finally received the item it was obviously not as described so is a claim like that avialable with PayPal?  It is separate from an Item not received because that one ended the day tracking uploaded saying a package was delivered.  Just curious ...

They said they couldn't close the case in my favor because a guitar is not covered under buyer protection and there is no appeal option
