Hi, I am about to get an online service from a person. Its not buying a physical item, he'll preform a IT service for me and i'll pay him for it. The dilemma is he wants me to pay first incase i am a scam. I know i am not and will pay after when the service is completed. Is there a way around this and give both side a peace if mind? Can he be invoice me via Paypal and i pay first be safe? Thanks,

Have the IT guy send a partial payment PayPal invoice. Just tick the "allow partial payments" option box on the invoice. Pay half now and the rest upon completion. If there is a problem after paid in full, you can either work it out amongst yourselves or you can ultimately file dispute on whole amount of the invoice.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
