I run my business through e commerce and in person at trade shows and have used PayPal Here for going on 3 years. Never had a problem with it until this year. Now, the card swipe will not read ANY cards and if I manually type in the number, anything after $500 gets put on hold for 21 DAYS!!! And there is no shipping whatsoever. They literally buy the item from me and walk away with it but I can't touch MY MONEY for da^% near a month if I manually type in the numbers and since my card swipe is no longer working, I have no choice. So after trying 4 different black, triangle card readers and none of them work, I'm left with two options. Buy Paypals new chip card reader or continue to pay interest on every item I sale in person and have a 21 day hold placed on every sale made after $500 per month. I understand holds to be made to make sure buyers receive their item, but I'm selling them in person and while they walk away with my product I'm left waiting 3 weeks to get paid. Only to be told nothing can be done and I will just have to wait. I've never heard of a system that can't be overridden.....
