Negative Balance

Hi everyone !

So to begin with , i have sold an in-game item on steam ( CSGO: KNIFE ) for £235.00 . The guy has send me the money and of course i have send him the item. After few hours i used most of my balance buying useless stuff. In the next 2 days an emai comes and tells me that a refund has been done . Now my balance shows - £235.00 . What i'm I suppose to do ?

What happens if i decide not to pay the money ?

- I have removed my credit cards , however my adress is still there.

I've heard so many cases :

1) that they will send people to get their money back 

2) The account will be blocked or unable to use it 

3) They will try to find me via e-mails , letters etc.

4) They will try to get their money from my bank accounts .

What will happen for real ?

Bottom line - you won't be able to close your PayPal Account - regardless of what ever actions you try.  As your account is in a negative balance you would need to pay the funds due - else PayPal will sell your debt to a debt collector.  The debt collector will then search for you to collect the payment.  (Some debt collectors are a bit more relentless than others - that's how they make their living.)
