When you click on multi order shipping there is now (or you will soon have) a new format. It is pre loaded with orders that need to be shipped. You just need to fill in a few details and print your labels.
You can not IMPORT orders from other sales you have on other platforms or direct sales. It only has orders where customers have paid using PayPal. Having said that it was showing that I need to print shipping labels for orders 2 months old, even though tracking info was in customers account. There were orders where customers had paid using PayPal and were not showing up on the New Multi Order Shipping platform.
There is an option to click and for a LIMITED time you can use the "Classic" view. Everything works as it should. Import, create new, eBay, direct sales even send your granny a birthday card if you want!
I spent hours with customer service and it seems as I was told when the new multi order shipping is completely rolled out the "Classic" will no longer be available. (I'm completely sure she understood my questions or if it was a scripted answer). They could not tell me why old orders were there and some order were not. They helped me created a ticket for tech support. Tech support said I need to contact customer service. Customer service said I need to contact tech support.......................................
We sell on many platforms and company names depending what we are selling. Books, wood products, custom items etc. Ebay, Barnes & Nobel, amazon, amazon handmade, Etsy, half.com, trade shows, special events, craigslist, national magizines, word of mouth, etc. It was useful and convenient to print all labels from one place except fed-ex and ups which we would create and print on their sites.
So it seems in a very short time multi order shipping will no longer work as it has in the past. We are now looking into a Pitney Bowes account.
