Moving card from one account to another

Has anyone had a problem with Paypald "system" blocking your card after you delete it from old account to new account? Happened to me this morning, now the representative is telling me I need to get a new card just to add to PayPal. I am beyond livid nor will I go to the trouble of just to use PayPal. Can someone help?

dont use Paypal,use your credit card direct.
You cannot use your credit card in more than one Paypal account,your account may be closed,but chargebacks and disputes can come in 180 days.

Only one card can be used for one PayPal account, even if it has been deleted from the paypal system.

After talking with two representatives who said I couldn't, I was transferred to another rep named Patrick. I explained the situation and he walked me through the steps with no problem. My card has been added to my new PayPal account.

Yeah, they just have to reset the card or do some tweeks in the back end. Some of the PP outsource man agents are not well trained or unwilling to help or say anything to get you off the phone and you have to call multiple times.
