Money on Hold!?

Hello. Just a couple of days ago, a friend gave me 10 dollars, but now the money is on hold until mid June. I'm not sure what's going on, since last time he sent money, the money was in my account. But now, it's on hold. I can understand it will get on hold if you been receving maybe hundreds OR thousands, but only 10 dollars? It's insane!

I don't know what to do.....can anyone help me?

Were you charged a PayPal fee to receive this money?  Could be that you were sent a goods and services payment instead of friends and family payment.  

It doesn't matter the amount.  If your account does not usually receive sales payments and you suddenly receive one, then then the payment is subject to funds availability hold.  See, https://www.paypal.com/us/selfhelp/article/why-is-my-payment-being-held-for-21-days-faq3236.

I see.....ugh.....I don't know why one of my commissioners sent it to Goods and Services, but he did. It's so dumb when they can't afford a change due to them being in another country. Now I have to wait til June no matter what.
