IPN is not passing item_name, item_number

For several hours on July 14, 2017, IPN did not appear to be passing item_name and item_number to my server. Then they appeared again for a few hours. And today they are not appearing. I have not changed my code in any way.

Is anyone else seeing this?

from the incident we've opened it seems resolved: we had the last wrong ipn sent yesterday, anyone confirm?

Got answer from support as well. Just the usual one: we know it and working on it.

Yes. I can confirm that item_name and item_number are being sent as expected.

Paypal have confirmed they have fixed the issue and I have not seen any incorrect IPN over the past few hours.

Since the beginning of August I have been getting item_name in both IPN and PDT code sent intermittently as 'Shopping Cart' even though my HTML API sets it  and my calling form specifies the transaction as <input ...  name="cmd" value="_xclick"></input> and not "_cart"
