Guest Checkout Customers not receiving email payment confirmations/receipts

Hello - we use Paypal Buy Buttons on our website.  Starting last month, we noticed that customers who checked out as guests were no longer receiving their email payment notifications/receipts. 

 

I've called paypal support multiple times and I cannot get any help.


Is paypal no longer sending guest checkout users these payment notifications? 

 

does anyone else out there experince this issue?

Your customers should be getting an email notification from PayPal regardless if they paid as a guest or through their PayPal Account.   This has been a random issue for years - suddenly the notifications stop and then they restart again.  There is a Merchant Tech Support site that may be of some help.

We experience the same defect as our customers have been notifying us that they are not receiving email confirmations.  I performed a few transactions using my personal account and was able to confirm that no emails confirmation are sent.  And yes, I checked the spam folder.   Due to this issue that Paypal keeps deniying, our business has received negative reviews.
