Client paid. I didn't receive the money

Client said he paid for our service... $240. He sent me a copy of the PayPal receipt transaction he received so I have the transaction number. The (our) email was correct. All looks in order. He was paying off of a PP invoice... said he just clicked the button on the invoice. 

 

Money was never put in our account. Does not show up on Account Summary.

 

What do I do? Who do I contact? 

 

First time we've had any problem with PP.

 

I looked on the FAQ seeking info on this problem but didn't see anything.

 

Help is appreciated.

if you did not get an email from Paypal,email address is member @ paypal.com AND YOU CAN t find the payment in your account,you did not get paid,so do not ship.

all email from Paypal will have @ paypal.com

Ditto - Same thing here.  I now have 3 items on ebay showing the payments are pending.  I go to paypal and see nothing on any of the 3 payments.  What's the deal?   When you go to PayPal Q&A They go ahead and send the items, they payment will be cleared then.  On Ebay, they tell you not to send until the item is paid for.  One visious circle!  A big time waister!
