Broken Negative Balance

Alright, so I've had this for the past month now, but I had a -$35.16 USD balance. I paid a friend for something and, at the same time, I paid off the debt. I paid her $32.23, bringing up to $67.36 directly from my account. I just went into my balance and I STILL have the -$35.16 balance, despite not having bought anything from Paypal since then, and the payment reads as having gone through. I tried going to the Help Contacts from the bottom of PayPal's page, but the links are "Outdated". I don't know what I'm suppsoed to do now, but I'm quite upset about the entire thing.
