funds "pending"

 im not a new customer and have never had an issue as a seller yet paypal are 'pending' a recent transaction of only £65, customer has her goods and happy with it ebay have their cut and now paypal are sitting on the rest, imagine the interest acrewed on all monies pending worldwide??!! why is it not possible to ever talk to anyone for a quick resolution?

If your PayPal account details for the transcation show "pending" it generally indicates a problem with the funding by the buyer.  If it's an eCheck it means PayPal is waiting for the funds to clear; it might be a bad checking account by the buyer.  If it is a credit card purchase, it may be that PayPal has not yet been able to determine that the transaction or card was valid.  It is generally better to wait until funds have cleared before sending items as the transaction may ultimately fail.

Only PayPal can provide detials.  it may mean persisting with the call and just staying on hold as long as it takes.
