Waiting for payment

Earlier this morning a payment was made to me via PayPal but I have yet to receive confirmation of this payment, I have also been on hold with the telephone customer service for 1 hour and 15 minutes now with no help.  I hope this is not the level of service I can expect from my future transactions with PayPal.  I have already sent an email but would prefer to give the sender an answer before then as she has never sent a payment without using a shopping cart and was a bit hesitant to start with.  Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Log into your paypal account and is the payment showing in your transaction history.

 

If not then check the email addy the buyer paid to and make sure there was no spelling mistake.

I have logged in and my balance is still $0 I also checked the addy she used to send me the payment and I definitely gave her the right one.  I have checked with her to get her email addy that she used as well as the exact amount of the payment ( Not sure if she sent the full amount owed or just 50% down).  Any idea why no one will answer the phone though?  It has now been over an hour and a half.

Just to add, hopefully you're not dealing with a scam here.  Common practice is to tell you they sent the money although they never did.   Then they will try to pressure you into shipping the item else, they will open a dispute.  You panic, ship the item and it's game over.
