Status is denied

I can't recieve money.  Whenever someone tries to send me money they get a "status is denied" message. My account has not been frozen and I haven't done anything wrong. 

 

I've sent a support email to paypal, but that was 2 days ago and have not heard back. Anybody know how I can fix this?

Two thoughts ....

 

Did you confirm your email address?  

 

Also, have you "verified" your PayPal Account?
