Hi I sold an item on e bay I  shipped the item to the buyer and the post office sent the package back to me  they said it was an invalid address and I had to pay to getting it back  I tried several times to getting ahold of the buyer finally they did and said that they don't getting usps mail there and to ship it ups ,fed ex  it would of been nice to know that from the start and they want me to pay for all the shipping and I  told them that I would only pay for half  does this sound fair? This is the first time this has ever happened any advice? ?????

Whether fair or not isn't relavent to yuour solution; it what is best for your business and within the rules for eBay.  I would probably cancel the sale and refund cost of item or ask the buyer to pay full shipping for the special service which will be higher than the original shipping.  It's simply a business deal, nothing personal or emotional.  I would also do a Google search of the address and check out the neighborhood; it the destination seems high risk, then cancel and refund.

It's your business you need to satisfy.
