Reports for Recurring Payments from Clients

I've called and email PayPal several times with this question without satisfaction. I'm hoping that you all can help me.

My customers pay through the recurring payment option. The same amount is taken from their account every month. I need an easy solution for reporting -- an easy way to track my clients and their payments.

I'd like to be able to ... 

1) ... tell at a glance the exact number of active recurring payment clients.

2) ... run a monthly report that tells me the new recurring payments for the month. It would include name and email address.

3) ... run a monthly report that tells me the names and email addresses of clients who canceled their payments or had their payments suspended.

One option would be to check with the Developer's Forum to see if anyone there is already doing something similar to what you have in mind.

Another option would be to export your transaction history to a CSV file and use app like Excel to sort and manage.  It's possible you come with some macros that could provide the data format you would like to see.  This User Guide explains the various fields that used for storing your history data:
