My account has had a limitation on it for around a fortnight now as they were asking to verify my details.
i uploaded the necessary document - utility bill, passport within 48 hrs
i have now messaged them over a dozen times with no response
ive tried calling, giving up after holding on for at least 30 minutes on 4 occasions
my ebay bill is due and im having to pay for all of my postage for my ebay parcels from my own card
can anyone give me any advice, im at the end of my tether with them
i cannot believe how bad this customer service is...
many thanks

Can take a few weeks once you become limited for paypal to get around to processing the info sent.
Best thing is to supply the info when you open your account so it does not get limited in the first place.
Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their facebook or twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

I have always supplied all the info right from the start. Your advice is useless! No one at Paypal responds to the phone and I have provided all necessary documents and yet my account has now been changed into a different name altogether. How am I supposed to know who has changed the name on my account if no one answers the phone? Bizarre way to run a company if you ask me! And just look at all the complaints on here... speaks for itself really!

1. But i was not talking to you was i?
2. Or are you talking to yourself.
3. As for my advice which i give voluntarily, it is of course limited as i don't work for paypal and just try and help folks on here.
Most folks say thank you, then there are people like you............rude.
Bye.

Totally agree with you! Have never known such a useless service and I can not get an answer on the phone either. Ebay have even advised me to stop using them and to offer goods for cash on collection only! Im moving to Gum Tree instead and closing my Paypal and Ebay accounts altogether! If everyone leaves they will soon buck things up!
