Delay in echeck cancelation?

Someone was buying from me, got another buyer instead, I went to cancel the echeck for the first buyer and its still showing pending in my activity. Is there a little bit of a delay to the cancelation?

Hi RootP1stol,
That's a great question!
Even though you cancelled the buyer's eCheck, because the funds had not yet arrived from the buyer's bank, the refund would show a status of "pending". Most likely, after the status of the eCheck changed to "completed", you'd see that it was successfully cancelled or refunded.
