It really did not help to show me a list of "Many options to choose from". I wish to heve users choose an amount to donate but the button-to-donate option states that I ahve to be a non-profit organization. I am not. What do I do? My "cause" is to help me write more code if they doinate.
Then go with a buy now (you can change the button name but linking your own button image calling it donate) button with predefined donation amounts via the "Add drop-down menu with price/option".
The donation button is the only button with the options you are asking for (sender enters they amount they want). But you can also convert the other types buttons to a kind of donation button.
