No one has been able to print a shipping label through PayPal since yesterday afternoon. Tried everything, and still won't work. The Community Forums on ebay have many posts about this same problem, so it needs to be fixed asap.

The Purchase Shipping button is not working for me either. Tried from different computers and different web browsers.

Same problem in all browsers. When attempting to print label, the blank screen appears displaying "Please wait ...........processing" but the label does NOT load. It does not print either but then upon return to log it shows the label as having printed. Upon trying to reprint the same problem repeats. Until the limit is reached on reprints, thus necessitating the voiding of label. Luckily I still have a third party shipping program to fall back on (Endicia-Dazzle) but it is easier to use PayPal for automatic tracking number reporting. Is this a system wide PayPal issue? Does the forum have any moderator input from PayPal? Is this a temporary issue due to JAVA updates? This has happened in the past but only for a short time. What does PayPal say?

Checking the many posts on this "unable to print" topic you can see this is a problem that pops up often over the years; likely due to an new update in a browser or microsoft application that creates a program conflict preventing the PayPal print program from executing properly.
When this occurs it takes awhile for PayPal to engineer a fix. In the meantime an oft mentioned work-a-round is using Chrome as your browser, which for some reason always seems more immune to program conflicts.
There is also the possibility that a print window is opening but you are not seeing it. Check your task bar on the bottom to see if there is an unopened page. Sometimes the print page window is behind another page that is open in the browser.
Computers are fussy electronic devices operating in multiple languages using billions of bits of code to understand what to do. If the least little bit of code out of the billions of bits of program code bumps into another bit of code and they conflict over occupying the same spot, that's the cause of a freezeup in the program and it just stops working. Computers cannot deal with any conflict.
As humans we are used to it.
As with all problems in life, if I can manage to survive long enough, those problems will resolve themselves. So I'll preach Patience with PayPal, and pray for a solution ASAP.
Good Luck,

I have been unable to print labels direct from my Paypal account since last Thursday. I can't seem to find any indication that others are having the same issue. Do any of you know where we can find out when this will be fixed or if there's something I need to do to fix this???

I checked all my updates (including JAVA and Adobe) according to instructions I received via email from PayPal support. I still could not print in IE or FireFox browsers.
Then I loaded the CHROME browser and was able to successfully print from PayPal in CHROME. Thank goodness.
However PayPal did reply that to resolve my print issue in IE and FireFox browsers I should call:
We are highly committed in delivering excellent customer service in order to make your experience with PayPal pleasant and rewarding. To contact us by phone, call 1-Login, Click "Contact", Click "Call Us" or Login, Click "Contact", Click "Call Us" during these hours:
* 4:00 AM PT to 10:00 PM PT, Monday–Friday
* 6:00 AM PT to 8:00 PM PT, Saturday and Sunday
Since I got it working in CHROME for the time being, I have not had time to call their tech number to get the PayPal Shipping Label function back to working in my regular browser.
I can't figure it out since my browsers and McAfee security suite are set to accept all cookies and images from PayPal. Still it will not complete the process of loading up the label to print. Sometimes there are incompatibility issues when new updates are loaded. Then it takes awhile for the patch to be found, but I guess this is not a system wide issue since I see no notification from PayPal. Maybe just a personal glitch on my computer?
**If you call the PayPal tech number and find a solution I'd be glad to hear about it.**

I have been unable to print a shipping label. I get "processing" and then the label never prints. But, then I get an email that says the label has printed and my paypal acct shows a withdrawal for the shipping cost. This has happened 3 times. I've had to void the shipping labels and go to USPS Click-n-ship to print them.
I haven't seen anything that explains why this is happening. Is there a way to resolve this? I prefer to print via Paypal so all my biz transactions are in one place.
Thanks for the help.

Sometimes this happens to me too where it skips past the print label screen and says the label has printed.
Then I just hit the REPRINT shipping label in PayPal and the second time for some unknown reason the label prints.
Another thing is if you are not seeing the "print screen" because it is opening up in a separate window but is not seen because it is minimized down on the task bar and is partially hidden by the icon for your browser that is open. In that case you need to maximize that tab to open that screen and print.
good luck kiddo
