Can I have 2 accounts?

Can I have 2 separate Paypal accounts and if so how do I go about doing that? Can each account be linked to different bank accounts? I ask because I currently have a personal account I use for online shopping and Ebay. I need another account for my personal business so I can keep the 2 separated.

You can have 2 paypal accounts BUT only if x1 is a personal account and the other x1 is a business account.

You can't have the same bank accounts or cards on both paypal accounts and you will need separate email addresses.

@kernowlass That works perfectly. Do I just create a brand new account or is it done through my existing account?

Sorry late reply, had to pick hubby up from work.

You can either upgrade your present account to a business account (the option is at the bottom of your paypal summary page) and open a new personal account.

Or you could keep the one you have as a personal account and open a new business account.
