There is something seriously wrong with paypal's algorithms and random 21 day holds placed. I don't know if this has to do with it's shoddy new interface and it's related bugs, and broken links with it's new interface or if it's done by design..
it is troublesome that paypal randomly initiates algorithms on 21 day holds. This has nothing to do with ebay account as my performance standards and dsr ratings are above standards. I have spoken with ebay and they do not see any holds as well.. to have 2 holds in less than 1 week suggests that their is some technical algorithm issue and i am held punitively accountable even though there is nothing wrong with my transactions with ebay. What is also troublesome is that my first point of contact paypal agent could not find any of my information with name, telephone number or email address. This suggest technical issues with paypal, probabily due with new interface that doesn't work properly..
The question to be asked is the integrity of paypal and it's business practices as a whole.. Also, we as customers are the ones that make paypal rich yet in paypal capltalistic view of treating us as customers more like suppliers without any recourse is very troublesome and unethical. Paypal could not answer my concern on these 21 days with a logical explanation rather stating that it's simply built in the system and these algorithims are designed to be implemented on purpose. These seems to be more of a cash grab practice on paypal to intentially hold 21 days and collect interest to make themselves more money..
