I don't have a store, but I was sent money for sending a friend something cross country. They showed me the reciept and their bank statement showing they sent me the money, but absolutely nothing is showing up on my account. I have no pending payments, no balance, nothing.
Likely they sent money to an email address not linked to your account. The money would be unclaimed on their PP account and not show up at all on yours. Add that email to your account and the payment will go through.
It shows unclaimed on their end and I didn't get an email saying I got a payment. I only found out about it when I asked them when they were going to send it. I only have one email attached to my paypal though, the one they used.
