PayPal Community

Hi All, I have an email address which was set up 10+years ago but never used so there isn't any card details. But sometimes I get emails about transactions made and I tried to retrieve the account but the only option is for PayPal to call this number that isn't mine for verification. Does anyone have any suggestions how I could detach my email address? PayPal customer service has been useless telling me to use that account to open a case even though I told them I can't. I have another personal email address which is being used by someone else to make purchases online, etc. I didn't set up this account so it's not using my credit cards. But just annoyed my personal address is being used. I tried resetting the password but it asked for security checks, I was able to pass the email address but couldn't get pass the phone number (not my number) and security questions. I've contacted PayPal about this but they did not help and not useful....anyone can help advise what I should do? ... View more
