Hi, all ! I have a bit of a problem trying to add money to my PayPal balance. My problem is very nooby and I hope I don't bother you too much with my basic understanding of how this whole thing works. Here it is: I made a PayPal account and successfully confirmed my bank account after 3-4 days after I requested PayPal to send a confirmation code to my bank account. My bank account's status is confirmed but its type says checking. From what I read, the "checking" thing is related to the fact that I can transfer funds to and from my PayPal balance, whereas "Savings" means that the payment from my work will go into that balance and only the payment. I saw through my bank account's app's past transactions one of the PayPal IBAN codes (I think?). It included the confirmation code I needed and, after I confirmed the bank account on my PayPal profile, I went back to my app and started a new transaction between my bank account's money balance and that supposed IBAN code. I sent 3 euros to this latter one just to see if it works. I think I made a mistake by sending money to this supposed code. I am now short of that 3 euros on my bank account plus a commission of 10 euros I think. It's not a big deal if I lost the money.. but my question is: was this the right way to add money to my PayPal balance ? My bank account belongs to Raiffeisen Bank, I am from Romania. I saw on the Trustly website that the only available banks are just 3 of them and Raiffeisen is not on that list. Should I wait a couple more days to see if the money I sent does go to my balance or should I make a new bank account which is included in the 3 Trustly bank options ? Sorry for long post.
