I just had this same problem. I couldn't remember opening a new PayPal account but knew I had activity in my old account when I logged in with my PayPal cash and backdoor tried my PayPal business. It seems I had 2 accounts with SEPERATED email addresses to each one. My account has been suspended for 6 months and I never knew it.
