Okay so this is kind of a long story but for the past 2.5 weeks or so I’ve been trying to access my paypal money so I can withdraw to my bank account. First everything was fine I’ve had PayPal for two years, no complaints, about two weeks ago everything went to **bleep**. First it started with not being able to withdraw money, then I couldn’t purchase anything without phoning them and them having to do a security check first, now there’s literally only one place I can online shop and use my PayPal balance with. I’ve been tossed around over the phone from being held on hold for 30 minutes, to being told I have to do a security check. I’ve been told previously to wait the 48 hours and I have and then the money has been accessible, but then the next time I receive money I can’t spend it or withdraw it. Or sometimes I’ll be able to send to my friends but I can’t withdraw it or spend it without phoning them. I was also told to maybe add and confirm a bank account so I even did that , and still I can’t withdraw. I don’t understand what kind of operation they’re running here but it’s not a good one, I get it we need security but this is ridiculous. And I had previously emailed them screenshots of their actual website from Google asking me to confirm my identity, confirming it and then asking me to confirm it again. I feel like this is a scam somehow or maybe I just have bad luck. I’ve tried everything. I’m seriously wondering if anyone else is having these issues because I’m kind of done, i’m exhausted. I’ve spent half my day is on the phone with PayPal for the past 2 1/2 weeks, It seems the call always ends with call back in 48 hours, they’re always just telling me the way and saying that they can’t do anything about it, it’s the same answers every time and I’m sick of it. I’m just wondering if anyone can help me or knows of a way I can get my money. After thIs I never wanna have PayPal again.
