I called a representative for PayPal Credit and they looked at my account and didn’t understand why I wasn’t able to use PayPal Credit so they forwarded me to PayPal. PayPal then looked into my account and the purchase and said everything looked good on my end but something was “red-flagging” the purchase that the problem could be with the merchant. I looked at the merchants Ebay feedback score and it is 100%. Here’s my question/problem: The merchant was allowed to offer PayPal Credit as a payment option and I had the money to spend and am in good standing with my PayPal Credit account. How can I feel confident next time I make a purchase that PayPal Credit is going to work? I don’t always have a secondary payment plan because the beauty of PayPal Credit is it allows you to pay over time.
