When buyers pay with PayPal, PayPal Buyer Protection covers them in case there is a problem. If an item doesn’t arrive or is significantly not as described, we will help buyers get a full refund. When buyers pay with PayPal, PayPal Buyer Protection covers them in case there is a problem.
I appreciate you sharing the details of your issue and completely understand you being upset. I know how discouraging it can be to receive an item that is not as described and to just want a refund.
Our claims process is an arbitration service we offer to help resolve disagreements between buyers and sellers. As you can imagine, it is extremely difficult for us to reach a decision that satisfies all parties. A common outcome for receiving a different item is to return it and receive a full refund. This is to avoid one party having both the money and the item.
