created a new account yesterday. Every card I input will give me the same error message. We cannot process your payment right now. try another debit or credit card. Well I have tried all my cards, and I have verified all my cards with Paypal. At this point eBay is COMPLETELY useless to me because I have no way of paying for anything on it. ive always heard horror stories about paypal, and typically have tried to shy away from using paypal for its bad internet rep. I have uploaded my credit card statements to paypal PROVING the cards are mine. They tell me the computer views my attempted purchases as "high risk" and are "protecting me"... From what? Myself? If I am proving the cards are mine, and the billing/shipping addresses all match who is being protected? Certainly not me as the consumer. I cant even buy a $99 item that I need. I had one paypal rep tell me it could just be pertaining to this particular item and to try another. Well I have tried 10 and it does not let me buy a thing. Worst part is there are no account limitations on my account at this point as I verified everything and uploaded all required documentation. So I cannot get a straight answer. Only conclusion I come to is that PAYPAL sucks! I wish eBay would find another payment solution so that there are more options. eBay is about to lose a 20 year customer. After spending all day on and off the phone with you guys, I give up. I was last told that my account was fully authenticated and to try again in an hour. Well I tried again in an hour and whod have thought... it still didnt work. The rep was clever because after an hour THEY WERE CLOSED and I could not reach paypal again.
