@miyu_p_ First of all... you shouldn’t use “Friends & Family” option to pay for products and services that is only to be used to pay “Friends & Family” not a stranger and you were trying to avoid paying PayPal fee so you avoided buyer protection buy not paying that buyer fee Secondly whoever tells to you pay using “Friends & Family” option is probably a scammer so dont do it again unless you know that person.   Unfortunately, according to the PayPal user guidelines,you cannot dispute or make a claim on a payment to PayPal that was sent via family and friends because it is a direct payment therefore it is not stored on the PayPal database   if you paid by card and not PayPal balance then try contacting your bank and chargeback tell them you got scammed. ... @Grqy Settings -> Payments -> scroll down until you see “Online Purchases”  then click “Change”  and from there you can change your preferred way to pay online, just click the “PayPal balance”    now you are set and you can now use your PayPal balance to shop an not a card. You can always change your preferred way to pay by folloing the same steps above  ... View more

@loverandhawa407 If you funded the original paypal payment to the seller with a debit or credit card then it won't go back to your paypal balance. Once marked as completed it will automatically go back to your bank account or credit card but takes up to a week to process through to the bank and a bit longer for a c.c. If you did not use a debit card and used instant bank transfer come back for another possible reason. ... View more
