When testing my HTML button for accepting payment from a card using an email address linked to my PayPal account, I got the following error message:- When I tested with another email address (all other things being the same) the payment went through OK. Is this behaviour deliberate or is there a glitch? Could it be because the email I used is the one on the merchant account I am using? I ask because if my customers use their PayPal email as a confirmation email and get the same behaviour, I need to advise them on the post payment failure page
