I had my phone stolen recently.. I done the obvious and got hold of ee straight away to report and block it.. I thought it blocks the SIM and phone but apparently not.. I checked my emails this morning and there's multiple from PayPal thanking me for my purchases.. almost £300 worth of multiple transactions on betting sites.. I knew I hadn't made any transactions so called the bank instantly to report it as PayPal instantly takes any payments from my bank.. my bank card was in my possession so I was confused at what had gone on.. then the lady on the phone asked if my pay phone was logged in on my phone that was stolen.. then I clicked on that ee hadn't blocked my phone, the thief had got into my phone and had full access to everything, I set up one touch pay with PayPal meaning for any purchases I only have to press ok instead of entering my password so that's obviously how they paid with my PayPal.. anyway the bank cancelled my card are trying to resolve it and refund me but say as it's such a long process report it directly to PayPal to resolve it quicker.. I open a case with them explaining everything only for a few hours later to receive an email saying they've denied my claim 'due to it being unauthorised transactions' obviously I want to dispute their decision as almost £300 stolen from me isn't on.. but there's no option on the website or app.. I've tried calling only to keep getting automated messages saying they're busy and can call me back in 4 hours then the next time it goes up to 6 hours.. how the hell do I dispute this and get my money back??
