Guys, seeking some help as I could find nothing useful using the provided PayPal menu system. I purchased an electronic device (e-bike motor controller) that worked as advertised for about 2 weeks, then suddenly started acting up - it's going to wide open throttle uncommanded. I've contacted the seller who has agreed to "repair" this device, IF I return it to China at my expense. When they receive it, they will perform the repair and return the repaired item WITH MY NEXT ORDER. I'm interpreting that to mean they will return it at my expense. To return the product to China will likely cost 20.00. To have them return it to me once repaired, at least another 20.00. This for a 45.00 device. If necessary (though I don't believe it's fair), I'm willing to pay the freight to return the product to allow them to test it. Otherwise they can say there's nothing wrong with it and ignore my claim. Once proven defective, I'd like a refund, not just for the purchase price, but to include the bill for returning the device.
Am I another victim, or is there a course of action I can take that will lead to some sort of resolution?
Thanks for any help or guidance!
