Not allowing service based comopaniues to accept PayPal transactions is not the answer. I would think it would be fairly simple to have a form they could accept saying that they were happy with work done, etc.. I always use professional invoices, etc and I always thought I was protected. I could understand a single payment being chargedback but this was 6 or 7 payments and I am pretty sure some if not many went back more than 45 days. If the owner of the account files a chargeback saying that the payemtns were not authorirized it would seem sort of reasonable to expect PayPal's fraud department to be intersted to know who actually made the payments. It seemes to me they do not care at all. When I spoke with PayPal today I was aksed if i had tracking numbers and ofcourse being a service I do not ship anything. I was then told the payments were not authorized by the owner and that was it. I said I had invoices, e-mails, names, addresses.. Nope, doesn't matter. .I have been using PayPal for years not only for PayPal but also to collect client payments and I always really thought I was protected. I could understand if a client had an issue which never has haoppened to me but this case is just really sheer dishonesty and stealing many, many hours of time from me. I would think someone working at PayPal would care just a bit.
