I sold a virtual item online for 20 dollars. I received $18.92 USD and $1.08 was sent to paypal due to the fee. The buyer decided to dispute the order so $20 was on hold. Now here's the problem. Paypal decided that the buyer deserves a refund and now my Paypal has a balance of "$-1.08." Why is this? Shouldn't paypal be refunding the $1.08? Aside from all that, I also appealed this dispute after paypal refunded the money. They accepted my appeal obviously because I was able to show proof that he did receive the virtual item. However, they did not take $20 dollars from his paypal and send it to me. Why is that? Quote from paypal dispute details: Status

Please contact the buyer to have the refund issued from your account returned to you. I have to contact the buyer to have the refund issued to me? What's the point of appealing when paypal cannot do anything about it at all. On top of that, would the buyer really refund me the money? Most certainly he will not. So help please.
