I have a master card and its being declined by paypal for some reason.. Its not out dated and it has enough money in it for the payment im going for.. any idea what is the issue? And why is it being declined and cant be addedto my paypal wallet?

Im trying to pay online and because i am using a mastercard, paypal website asks to add that card to its account so i can pay.. but when i do so it says card was declined and i have no clue why.. i need help how to fix that please..
