PayPal Community

Why do they make everything so confusing? I get my statements online and wanted to see my last statement activity. To  my surprise there are  no details of interest charged, payment amount and new balance.  The reason I was checking because I wanted to know why my purchases with special financing weren't being paid down. After finding the answer in the community I'm more confused that ever by the way Paypal operates.   From another post from 2019:  That said this is what the advisor told me: I will need to wait until the interest free period expires on the 1st of Jan on the first Special Financing purchase on my account. Once the interest free period is over this purchase would then be in the higher interest rate bracket and therefore as long as my minimum payment has been made then all additional payments will go to the first purchase so I should be able to clear the balance of the purchase on the 2nd.       Then another post stated this: Apparently the solution is you have to call each month, and have customer service allocate the payment how you want it.     I've decided to transfer my balance to a new card and stop using Paypal altogether. ... I , like a few others , reported Shoe,Launch aka AleStore aka etc to the FTC and surprise! My order that hadn't shown up since May came the next week. I ordered 6 facemasks with  my last name printed on them example Team My Name . The workmanship was extremely poor and you could see the order was rushed. My items were balled up all together &  squeezed in  a small plastic baggie . Total cost of order $203.00. Live & learn I will never order anything costing more that $50 with Paypal and I also won't order from any company I can't get a reply from by phone (human voice) & email response immediately before I order from them!  ...
