I was sent a refund of £2.50 via Paypal for a purchase on or around 10th January 2018. At that time the payment was gratefully received and all seemed fine. However, only today I have received a notification from Paypal that the bank has requested a reversal of the transaction and now Paypal have recovered the money from my account without any notice. It is a small amount, but the upshot is that my Paypal balance has been rendered negative and this has limited it's use for at least a week. I am shocked and surprised that Paypal can do this, but I can find no way to approach them apart from this forum. Even though I have initiated a transfer from my bank to offset the negative balance, this will take 5 - 7 working days to complete, during which time I will be unable to use the account. Who does that help? I've been using Paypal for 15 years without any issues at all, and now this. Very Frustrating!
