Thanks - yeah, youngster has learnt the lesson the hard (and expensive) way. I'm pursuing recovery of the money through other ways, however is there nothing that PayPal - as a responsible entity - can do identify these people as scammers (from a complaints option? - we can't be the only ones here!) and send a body of proof from disappointed PayPal users to an authority that can actually do something about this??? Judging by the number of similar comments I found on your community, this is a common problem and Good people are being abused by Bad people...
