In general, if you have created a PayPal account using a fake name, a name change may not be agreed and your account may be permanently limited. At that point, you may be given the chance to create a new PayPal account with your real name and the correct information!
The name change request may take up to 2 weeks to be worked, generally. To speed up the process, you could contact our Customer Service on Twitter (@AskPayPal) or Facebook (www.facebook.com/PayPalUK). If you would like to call in, you can find the correct phone number for your country by clicking 'Help & Contact' at the bottom of the PayPal homepage and then clicking 'Call customer support'.
