So I had a buyer who opened a claim against me on February 14th for claiming the item is not as described. This was two weeks after the laptop was delivered to him. He claims I sold him a broken and defective laptop. He clearly dropped the laptop and broke the corner. He uploaded pics of the damage. I also uploaded my original pictures that clearly show no damage. He also claimed that my eBay account has been suspended. This also was not true as I uploaded pics of my account including my 300+ 100% positive feedback, current active auctions and account activity. Never once been suspended. I also called them to tell them my side of the story. I sent an email to customer service asking when the claim will be finished and they said they are still waiting for an email from the buyer. Now it says that I should expect to hear from them if nothing happens by April 1st. We are already approaching the 30 day mark and over 2 weeks of wait time while waiting for the buyer to send an email to PayPal. All this has been very frustrating and I think has gone on far too long. Any ideas on how long these usually take? Anything I can do to speed up the transaction? This whole case has really left a bad taste in my mouth. I have already canceled all my higher ticket items and have not used PayPal once since this whole thing went down.
