Are you stating this is wrong advice?? This is officially from PayPal & I do believe most countries cannot transfer or withdraw from their Paypal accounts.. that in itself is very disturbing & deceitful where (the holder of the account) has no right to their funds, so I do believe the answer is correct as shown in the drop down (Guyana) for the original posters Country! My reply from Paypal concerning my transfer of funds to my card: I appreciate you taking the time to contact us about adding a bank. I can sense the confusion regarding adding bank or card on your PayPal account. If you are trying to withdraw funds on your account, you can only transfer this to any (Australian bank account or US bank account). Debit or credit cards can only be used as a (funding source). this is also why when you were adding your (MasterCard), this is recognized still as a card. I am glad to have clarified this for you. f you are using a debit or credit card Paypal will not allow transfers to cards you have to have a bank “savings account” I have already enquirer about this so will now have to apply for a savings account & delete my debit Acc. & add my savings Acc. Hoping that helps ... View more

My reply: Still does not rectify papypal identifying my personal “MasterCard savings/debit card” as a credit card! My card is not a credit card it’s a “Debit card” I don’t have a bank account only a debit card.. totally useless having a Paypal Acc.
