I am trying to purchase a gift for someone through a different merchant ( not EBAY) and when I chose to change the "ship to " name and address , my transaction was denied! I want to send the gift direct and having it first sent to myself would be a pain! How can we use pay-pal as conveniently as credit cards if we have this issue? If we are confirmed to be the correct user of a pay-pal account then we should be able to ship to any name and address we want. There has to be a way to fix this. Just to be clear , this is about a purchase from a merchant that has nothing to do with EBAY. I am familiar with Ebay policy and know it is different . I want to send a gift to a person at their address . How can this be made possible?
