Many online Merchants take advantage of an "optional feature" that requires the buyer to have a "confirmed address".   This optional feature is enabled by the Merchant, not PayPal.   When this feature is turned on, it requires the buyers shipping address to be the same as their billing address.   Merchants do this to protect themselves against for not so honest buyers and scammers.       Regards,   skier     ... If the seller is requiring buyers to have a "confirmed address" meaning that the shipping address must be the same as the billing address, there's nothing you can do to change this.    Many sellers will enable this feature in their PayPal Account to protect themselves against the not so honest buyers.     Regards,   skier ...
