When the new Xbox came out the other month I ordered on from someone selling their pre-ordered one on ebay. This person had sold many things on ebay before and had a good rating so I felt confident with purchasing from them. I wait about a week from the release date of the new xbox and I still have not recieved my package. I contact the buyer and he says he has shipped it out and I get the tracking info. The seller put in the incorrect address and it said it had arrived at a house a block away. I go over there and ask about my package and the woman tells me that she did not recieve any package and if she had she would have sent it back to the post office. When paying for shipping I made sure that the package had to be signed for. I contacted the post office and they informed me that my package had been sent to California to be desposed of (I don't live in California.) I have no idea what that means other than I can't get my package back. I tried to file an electronic claim with PayPal but it was closed because there was tracking information. I tried multiple times to contact PayPal customer support to try and explain the situation. When I finally got a hold of a human at PayPal I had already filed a claim with my bank. I can't have both claims open at once so I contact my bank but it is Friday evening and so I have no idea if the claim was closed. Then today I recieve an email from PayPal saying that my claim had been automatically closed due to the tracking information being provided. I don't know what to do any more and it's been almost 2 months of this loop. Any suggestions on what to do would be appreciated.
