The outlet I brought from has to give you an authorisation code to process your return, but they have not responded to any requests for my auth code to make the return. I looked on Trustpilot recently and I saw I’m not the only one who has had this problem. I have emailed them every single day since I made the first request and I have had nothing back from them. The item is legitimate and good, but just doesn’t fit as I expected it to, I wanted to just return it and get a refund. Now I have only 2 days left in the return window and they still haven’t given be the code I need, and I doubt I will get it. I paid via PayPal. Would I be able to open a dispute over this matter? I just want my money back, and for them to have their item back. In their returns policy it states: “Pursuant to Italian law and by government decree issued by parliamentary delegation no. 21 of 21/02/2014, the Customer is entitled to return the product(s) by submitting a return request within 14 days from the date of receipt of the order. Once the request has been made, the Customer is obliged to return the product(s) to X within 14 days from the date of authorisation of the return request […] X reserves the right to reject returns that have not been authorised or sent in accordance with the above.” I am not in Italy, so not sure if it applies to me, but if it does then it plainly says that I am entitled to return the item. Their non-response to my request to return has blocked me from making one, so would this would be a good case for dispute?
