I've recenly found a PayPal My Cash card (shown below) that I was gifted a little while ago. The back of the card gives instructions on how to redeem the card, so I went to paypal.com/cash, entered the information, signed in with my PayPal account, but was then told, "NEED_MORE_DATA" and was returned to the home page. I tried calling the number on the back of the card where I was told the balance of my card and that while my card was redeemed, it had not yet been linked to a paypal account. Considering I logged into my account in order to redeem it, I don't understand why its not linked to my PayPal account. I've tried this whole process countless times, I've read a bunch of the forums about it, but no one seems to have an answer. I just got off the phone with Customer Service, and while they were very nice, they seemed to have no idea what they were doing as far as the Cash Card was concerned. Almost like they didn't even recognize the card. Its a PayPal card, there is no expiration date, it should work. I honestly am very confused and upset that a name as big as PayPal has a bunch of cards with inaccessible money for its customers and has no plan to fix it. How can I trust PayPal in the future if they could just keep giving out cards that they won't allow their customers to redeem? Please let me know if any of you know how to fix it, or just how to get the money refunded to me. Thank you!
