I always thought PayPal offered buyer protection if you used them at the checkout as payment. I purchased a jacket that I never received, opened a case giving all the facts, buyer never responded or provided tracking and PayPal decided in favor of the shady seller. I met all standards for buyer protection that are listed on the site. There's no appeal button on the resolution center page (mobile and desktop versions). I called customer service and the phone menus are setup so you will never get a person on the phone, only the computer saying everything I already know except how to fix this or get an actual person on the phone to explain this messed up outcome. PayPal has made me a victim twice now on the same transaction. This is a prime example of bait and switch on the buyer protection. I simply want my money or my item. ... View more

Instant Transfer to Debit Card Feature is HORRIBLE...

I must say the free 24 hour money withdrawal has worked better than this instant transfer mess they offer now. I have used it four times now and it actually worked once for me. It was the third time I transferred for some reason. The first, second and now the 4th transfers ALL have taken well over 24 hours... far from a instant 30 min guarantee! Each time I called C.S. and each time was told something that contradicted prior conversations with PayPal customer service!? My card is confirmed but the strange thing is, the transfer that went thru like it should my card was not yet verified. I was told today that when my P.P. account states the transfer is "complete" your money should be in your bank account. I said Nope its not there and the bank has no knowledge of it! Then, I was told it's held on a 72 hour review period to verify funds??? Why? 3 extra days of interest for Paypals bank account but not mine! I've been a customer of PayPal for 20+ years and to be talked to like I'm a stupid idiot is insulting as well as insightful. I saw first hand how customers and their hard earned money are treated. She totally contradicting what she just told me about the status being complete and should be in my account. I asked if she could track my money like a previous customer service reps did. Once they tracked the cash and hung up the phone...Holy Moly my money was in my bank account. Strange how quickly it appeared after them tracking it. The lady today was extremely uncaring, incomprehensible with her English skills, ignorant on protocols apparently and unwilling to help. I totally feel like I was lied to about what can be done to find my money and get it to me. The past 3 experiences with this same situation with the instant transfer went peachy and had my cash shortly after ending the conversation. This option is far from reliable. And old enough to where the Programers and testers could have fix this issue by now. CAN I GET A STRAIGHT ANSWER FROM A PAYPAL OFFICIAL TELLING ME WHERE MY CASH IS FOR ONE. AND WHY C.S. AGENTS USE EVERY EXCUSE THEY CAN THINK OF OR GUESS WHY THESE TRANSFERS ARENT WORKING? Obviously I am not the only one. LET'S HEAR EVERYONE ELSES C.S. I have a confirmed card and I'm still waiting 12 hours later! The feature isn't that new to still be having this issue. It worked back when my card was unconfirmed tho?? So if it states it is complete with PayPal and my bank has no knowledge of this... where is my $150. Can PayPal track my money? Or retract it? People depend on this money transfer and it doesn't work obviously. Back to the free 24 hour tranfer. ... View more
