I have been notified by PayPal that my account has been permanently limited. I’ve called them about it and they offer no explanation other than somewhere in the “back office“ the decision was made. I can no longer have any transactions in PayPal nor can I transfer my balance, which is several hundred dollars to my bank. When I called and asked about my funds, they tell me that they are holding my funds till November in case there’s any sort of dispute. I’ve repeatedly asked for an explanation and no one tells me anything except the back office decided it and you can’t talk to them. Has anyone else had this experience or can someone tell me shy they would do this? The only transaction that I can imagine that would be what PayPal calls a “risk” was a couple of orders that I made to Temu, the Amazon-like online store located in China. The PayPal person I spoke to said they were filing an appeal with the back office to try to get an explanation for me and they promised someone would call me in a few days but it’s been over a week and no calls have come in from PayPal.
